Welcome to the Columbia, South Carolina office of Rid-A-Critter, the region's leader in safe, humane animal removal and wildlife exclusion.

Rid-A-Critter was established in 2001 as a new kind of animal control company, one built around a modern, scientific approach to wildlife management, respect for our natural environment, and complete dedication to customer service and satisfaction.

We began as a two-man operation staffed by two friends, but have grown to be the largest independent, locally-owned animal company in the Southeastern United States. We have tens of thousands of satisfied customers and have evicted millions of animals. We're also proud to say that we've earned the Better Business Bureau's highest rating, Multiple "Best of Year" awards on Kudzu, and the coveted TrustDale certification.

Due to an increase in demand, we now provide services in the Columbia and Aiken Metropolitan Areas of South Carolina. Our South Carolina service area includes the towns and cities of Aiken, Barnwell, Camden, Columbia, Evans, Greenwood, Lexington, Newberry, North Augusta, Orangeburg, and Sumter, along with any smaller towns within that general area.

Our Columbia and Aiken, South Carolina Animal Control Services

Why Choose Rid-A-Critter?

Rid-A-Critter is a dedicated animal-removal and wildlife management company. We're not a pest control company, roofing company, or group of handymen who "do animal control on the side." Animal control and its related services are all we do. We have therefore invested heavily in being the best at it. We hire, screen, and train our technicians in all aspects of nuisance wildlife control, and we make sure that they have everything they need to do the very best work possible.

We also have a staff of roving Quality Assurance Inspectors who show up unannounced at jobs our crews are working on to make sure that the work meets our high standards. But we're still a family business, so the company's owners also routinely make random visits to jobs in progress.

In addition, as technology has made inroads into the work we do, we've invested heavily in newfangled equipment and software to do everything from expediting scheduling to seeing animals in the dark and inside wall and ceiling voids. Some of the equipment we use was available only to the military a few decades ago.

Rid-A-Critter is also a Certified Drug-Free Workplace. When you hire Rid-A-Critter to take care of your animal problems, you don't have to worry about any potheads, stoners, or burnouts showing up at your home or business. All of our field employees undergo intensive screening prior to being hired.

Finally, Rid-A-Critter backs up our work with the best warranty in the business. If the animals come back, then so will we.

Thank you for considering Rid-A-Critter. Please contact us for more information about how we can help you solve your animal control problems.
